Invention of computer is one of the greatest achievements in human history. Computers have become integral part of our life. They find application from oven used in kitchen to modern spacecraft. Extensive use of computers made it essential to adopt numerical methods in solving modern science and engineering problems. In this view, here an attempt is made to give an insight to various numerical methods ranging from solving algebraic and transcendental equations to numerical integration and differentiation. Also C source code/MATLAB code to solve these problems are given here.
I hope this will help the science and engineering students to understand various numerical methods.
